BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor) announcement on FINBEST service

Dear Customer,
In view of unprecedented growth of bunker prices our bunker costs have substantially increased.
To partly offset the increase of the bunker costs we have to adjust the current BAF surcharges.
The new BAF will be following:
Benelux/UK - Estonia/Finland v.v.
EUR 160/20' (GBP 120 if freight is rated in British pounds)
EUR 320/40' (GBP 240 if freight is rated in British pounds)
Benelux/UK - Lithuania/Poland v.v.
EUR 140/20' EUR 280/40'
Estonia/Finland - Lithuania/Poland v.v.
EUR 110/20’ EUR 220/40’
Estonia-Finland v.v.
EUR 20/20’ EUR 40/40’
BAF for 23', 25', 26’ cntrs is rated as 20'.
BAF for 30' and 45’ cntrs is rated as 40'.
The new BAF is applicable for laden and empty cntrs.
Valid from 22nd of August 2008.
Valid only for BILATERAL trade cargo (not for feeder).
